Work of Iron CIC - Access Fund

Who can apply?

There are so many mental, social and physical benefits to getting out and making something with your hands. We believe that there is something for everyone in this ancient and specialist craft and that finances should not have to be a barrier.

With a limited number of spaces held on every course for subsidised places, there are a variety of full and partial subsidies available. Participants who live in the local area and those who face both financial and structural barriers are given priority. If cost might be a barrier to your participation, please apply below to inform us clearly why you want the support. We treat all requests as strictly confidential and will try are best to respond to you within five working days.

‘Pay it Forward’

The Pay It Forward scheme allows course participants to contribute by topping up their fee. Giving participants who can afford it the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to participants who are facing barriers is part of how we foster an inclusive and supportive environment and ensure that courses are filled with people from all walks of life.
